I’m going to annoy her openly. And I’m loving it. Right after the celebrational event commonly named „Easter“, we made the choice to create an egg-salad from the remaining boiled eggs. The word „Ei“ is the german word for „egg“, and I’m making weird sounds like a lunatic with „Eiiii…“. Now I’m turning „Bär“ (for „Kuschelbär“ as „bear“ in a cuddling bear) with „Ei“, and she said I’m insane. Well I am, that’s why she’s loving me I guess. Why on earth should I end my psychotic bewildered existence and become a rational oppressive midget of society if my brain can’t stop?
Once nobody’s here we all face the endless rhythms of boredom pouncing in our minds like drops falling down into a large pot of water. When will the next party start off if nobody prefers to offer a location, and if ever, who’s going to join us to party all night long? I hope the semester holidays will find its end soon to restart lifeful activity compared to the overall similarities of our obnoxious existence. Even tho the days are wonderful, I begin to notice the evenings turn out to be a disaster – Kat and myself are quite entertained by ourselves, some books, the media and whatever else is caught by our eyes. But I believe we have no clue what to do next if we’re done with everything including all the amazing cuddling, snuggling, and sex. I believe we need to find some people (like those who prefer to spend their holidays at their parent’s place or somewhere else) and we ought to find some fantastic parties!!! Hmmm…
Happy Easter again! Today’s the sunday for hunting the eggs. And yes, that’s been some entertainment so far. Now Kat’s been running outside for about half an hour while I remained inside instead of enjoying the foggy coldness. We had a delicious breakfast and some small chocolate presents, watched some TV or spent time blogging, faced the truthful problems of the speed of a modem dial-up account… well it’s a big piece of chocolate stuff by Kat’s mom! I hope we won’t get sick of it… maybe some more stuff later! ;)
Happy Easter to all of you! This is going to be a very long weekend, but being on the hunt for easter bunnies and easter eggs is a nice idea. Now only the weather has to support us! If not, I’ll be furious and run up the ceiling. Hmm… Kat and myself plan to have a few trips by bike and we might pay some more visits to my family. Nevertheless, I’ve been facing reality again since the holidays are going to be over soon. Things to clean up, things to worry about, lots of things that keep a man busy in life. I might prepare some things for the upcoming semester – only about one week left…
It’s been some time – Kat and myself made it back home. We started at 10:00 and left her mother’s house near Greifswald for a long trip on the Autobahn to pass Rostock, Lübeck, Neumünster and Rendsburg to visit the small city of Husum at the west coast of Germany for a fish-snack and some small shopping entertainment around 13:00. After about two hours we managed to get back to Flensburg at 16:00 to put all of our things (clothing, laptops, equipment) back into our appartments – these two weeks were incredibly amazing and wonderful. By now each of us consumed a beer in our local brewery restaurant and ate some delicious fish and noodles at Kat’s place. Time to find some more peaceful moments together… hmmm!
It’s not the famous Spring Break, but wonderful sunshine outside. The snow completely vanished finally, the spring is about to fulfill its duty. Goodbye dear Winter, I will not miss you!
So far so good – we’re absolutely relaxed and are about to continously enjoy the free time in our holiday session. This is going to be week 3 soon, but we’ll move back home on wednesday to be back for my mother’s birthday. But here, all kind of food and drinks to abound did the rest. On Saturday, Kat’s cousin Pauli visited us here in Griebenow, a small village next to Greifswald at the Baltic Sea. After committing virtual suicide and bombarding the stomache with tons of absolutely delicious food, we managed to rent a few DVDs – a miniature party in the evening with wine, nachos and dips. Sunday was warmer – much warmer – and all of us including Kat’s mother and cousin joined in a long walk at the beach yesterday. For the rest of the afternoons, we managed to play some knowledge games similar to Trivial Pursuit and Mensch Ärgere Dich Nicht before Pauli left us to return back to Rostock. The remnant crew of Griebenow found some more time to chill throughout the evening before we went to sleep.
Today it’s time for some joyful trip to the city of Greifswald and maybe we’ll perform some shopping, have a few cups of coffee and entertain ourselves with many fotosessions and kuddling.
I’m alive and my feet don’t hurt anymore. Yesterday, Kat and myself visited the Park Sanssouci in Potsdam. We drove there by car since we weren’t going to pay again for a supreme ticket for the tram and metro services. The weather was to our surprise quite wonderful, but as we managed to visit the museum in the New Palais, the interior was absolutely frozen cold – for the reason of preserving the architecture and paintings. Apparently, the conservation process is imperative for the operators of the park. But today we went for some shopping back to Kurfürstendamm in the west and the Friedrichstrasse in the east of Berlin. Some pictures taken of Checkpoint Charlie and some other photos containing pictures of the New Palais, Castle Sanssouci, the Chinese Tea House and the Orangerie will follow soon.
I managed to upload a few pictures of our trip to Berlin. You can review them at the Shots’n’Pics galery or directly by clicking the sample images… enjoy ;)
Berlin and becoming drunk – is this our newest habit? I’m going to call this some „Governmental Cityholâ€: Manifold skylines and magnified liquid is the essence for the chilled life without the borders of our solemnly saddening reality. No borders, no limits but pure refreshing freedom of the mind.
Walking in the city of Berlin throughout the whole day to overcome your deepest pains in search for relief – pain for the body, not for your soul or mind – was our amazement in the daylight. The next set of marching added another five kilometers to this tourists’ road of perdition. In total the Berlin trip consumed 85 Euros and paid off some entertainment, delicious food, painful feet, and loving memories for the two of us. Now it’s closing in to 7pm and we’re expecting to drink a couple of cocktails in the „Elevenâ€, a small cocktail bar at the Leipziger Platz next to the Potsdamer Platz. Time for Happy Hour… the barkeeper nicknamed „Tomson†(for Thomas) offers a good service so far and the beer we’ve ordered earlier is already half empty: The Duckstein which is a dark brown Pilsener is for myself and the Köpi which stands for König’s Pilsener is a herb Pilsener beer for Katharina.
Within a few minutes, we will break off the beers and concentrate on a Flying Cangaroo and a French Colada with the chill-out music running through our ears to serve us some vibes and pleasure. Relaxation during the holidays is the key to unlock our secrecy…

Colorful cocktails for the late hours sum up the daylight’s bistro serving of tasteful food and snacks. As Tomson explained to me, they might introduce a WLAN Hotspot to make this bistro-café more attractive during the day. I consider this as a huge bonus to attract tourists like ourselves.
French Colada
Frecher würziger Cognac schimmert durch den Rum und die Sahne.
Flying Cangaroo
Sahning frischer Vodka im Hauch von Orangensaft.
Long Island Ice Tea
Tompson’s spezieller Mix – sehr empfehlenswert durch wenig Zusatz von Cola, dafür aber reich im Geschmack von Rum und Limetten.
