As I just announced on the M-E-X Blog, I plan to conduct a small live-blog this weekend in the environment of a Marketing Seminar at the University of Flensburg. It depends on the team with which I’m working this Saturday and Sunday, and we’ll discuss my temporary timeouts for blogging later this morning. Ich werde auf dem zweitägigen Marketing Seminar an der Universität Flensburg ein wenig Live-Bloggen, also heute am Samstag und morgen am Sonntag. Also nix mit Strand wie gestern Nachmittag, sondern schwüle Hitze auf engem Raum genießen. Warum? Wieso? What a wonderful weather! It is extremely wonderful, and … I can’t find words to describe this beauty outside. After facing an intensive headache this morning after enjoying some Caipirinhas at last night’s party of our Club de Español in our University’s Institute, I managed to get myself under mental control and stability once the classes ended in the early afternoon. Then Katharina and I went straight to the beach for a sun bath and some more fun in the water before we returned back home for a shower and preparation for this nights BBQ party at Oke’s place. Currently I’m awaiting the arrival of Senona for a meeting of our Sociology Reader Group in the Mensa. The weather outside is absolutely hot, the campus is filled by skinny skirts and quinsy bodies – and I was stupid enough to schedule this meeting for today. Not that I forgot to bring a camera on this day to make a few shots of my girlfriend, I still wear these jeans. It’s the only day I have time tho, and I wonder if she’s going to arrive. Aside from this, I’ve been waiting for a call of Mirko to check with me about the meeting date and time… sooner or later I might leave the Mensa for a restful moment outside in the sun. I’m sure they can find me, and if not, there’s this blog to read about my whereabouts. Now there she is… she arrived ;) mehr...

They are meant to solve disputes among those who are leveled below them in the corporate organisational hierarchy. To evaluate all their problems becomes a burden, because each individual expects to be treated as extraordinary individual, and while they might have a special attitude, they should not be leveled higher than their co-workers unless these are proovingly considered to be incapable of keeping up with their supposed-to-be extraordinary teammates. And what happens if the others catch up and figure out that one wants to get raised higher than they are? They push this special one down with any argumentation they can find useful. Managing is a war on a thin line between the good and evil, and you have to treat them like sheep in your herd. Being this shepherd, you’ll give them a long and prosper life… until you fire them like lambs to the slaughter. mehr...

The last days were troublesome for the heart of a student – too much work to keep up with it. Not that we had to finish a presentation, but we worked more and more on our Manifesto 2005 which will be automatically published on our DCFP Website. I had hopes to return to the Blogosphere on a more regular schedule, but University keeps me off. Sometimes I wonder why it’s such a time consuming effort, and once I’m finished with my BBA and MBA, I’ll be alienated from society as a manager. Quite a dirty thought. mehr...

Wie ärgerlich! Nur für die großen Provider wurde der Beta-Test von Google Adsense’s RSS Advertising Service freigeschaltet. Wie die weit verbreitete WordPress wurden auch weitere OpenSource Softwaresysteme (z.B. Serendipity) nicht mit aufgenommen. Matt von WordPress erklärt, dass jetzt die “Verhandlungen” aufgenommen wurden. mehr...
